Day 2 White Stupa (Tsagaan Suvarga)
After an early breakfast, begin your journey toward the Gobi Desert. Visit the spectacular White Stupa (Tsagaan Suvarga) — a breathtaking limestone escarpment rising nearly 30 meters, shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion. The colorful layers of white, pink, and orange resemble the ruins of an ancient city, and marine fossils can still be found across the surrounding plains. Enjoy a guided walk, panoramic photo stops, and dinner under the wide Mongolian sky. Overnight at a tourist camp. Meals: B, L, D
Day 3 Yol Valley (Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park)
Continue deeper into the Gobi toward Yol Valley inside Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. Known as the “Valley of the Vultures,” Yol Valley is famous for towering rock walls and permanent ice fields that remain frozen even in summer. Explore the valley on a horseback riding tour through narrow trails and high canyon walls. Keep an eye out for ibex, wild sheep, and soaring lammergeier vultures. Overnight at tourist camp. Meals: B, L, D
Day 4 Khongor Sand Dunes
Depart for the legendary Khongor Sand Dunes — the largest and most impressive dunes in Mongolia. Known as the “Singing Dunes,” they stretch over 180 kilometers and rise more than 300 meters high. Visit a local nomadic camel herding family, enjoy a traditional welcome, then experience an unforgettable Bactrian camel ride across the golden desert landscape. Climb to the top of the dunes for breathtaking panoramic views of the Gobi. Meals: B, L, D
Day 5 Bayanzag — The Flaming Cliffs
Journey to Bayanzag, famously known as the Flaming Cliffs. This world-renowned paleontological site became famous after the discovery of the world’s first dinosaur eggs by explorer Roy Chapman Andrews in the 1920s. The red sandstone cliffs glow brilliantly under sunlight, especially at sunset. Explore the cliffs on foot and learn about the region’s prehistoric past. Continue to Dalanzadgad to visit the Gobi Museum for deeper insight into the desert’s wildlife and geology. Overnight at a local hotel. Meals: B, L, D
Day 6 Baga Gazriin Chuluu
