Booking & Payment
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via our secure online payment portal. For customized private tours or large group bookings, we also accept international wire transfers.
Absolutely. We accept bookings up to 18 months in advance. Booking early is highly recommended for our peak season (June through August) and for specific festivals like Naadam.
Cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations between 15-29 days receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour begins.
Tour Details & Itineraries
Our standard tours are all-inclusive from the moment you arrive. This covers airport transfers, domestic flights (if applicable), all ground transportation, accommodation (hotels in UB, ger camps, or tents), all meals, guide services, and national park entrance fees.
Tour durations range from 1-day city explorations to extensive 16-day cross-country expeditions. The most popular immersive tours typically last between 8 and 12 days.
Yes! While we offer scheduled group departures, we specialize in crafting custom, private itineraries for solo travelers, couples, families, and friend groups based on your specific interests.
Accommodations & Meals
In Ulaanbaatar, you will stay in comfortable 4-star hotels. During the countryside journey, accommodations are typically in traditional tourist Ger camps (felt tents with beds and stoves) and occasionally high-quality camping tents depending on the remoteness of the itinerary.
Yes, 3 meals a day are included. Our expedition cooks are trained to accommodate various dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. Please inform us of your needs at the time of booking.
Preparation & Requirements
Most of our classic cultural and sightseeing tours require only a moderate level of fitness (ability to walk for a few hours and handle bumpy jeep rides). Our adventure tours (trekking, prolonged horseback riding) require good physical stamina.
Citizens from many countries (including the US, Canada, Australia, and many EU nations) can enter Mongolia visa-free for tourism purposes for up to 30-90 days. However, regulations frequently change, so please check with your local Mongolian consulate before traveling.
The prime travel season is the summer, from June to late August, when the weather is warm and the landscape is green. September and October offer beautiful autumn colors, while our winter tours (February/March) are perfect for the Ice Festival and Eagle Festival.
